[title-subtitle-heading subtitle=”Easy to Make and Delicious!”]Super Omege Brain Boosting Salad[/title-subtitle-heading]

I went to bed two nights ago with a complete ‘brain fog’, I had a very long day and could not concentrate and was super tired. So I decided to give my nervous system a lot of love and make an omega loaded salad for the next day. I have used marinated kale as the greens and base for this salad, but if you don’t have time to marinate it overnight feel free to swap it with any other greens (rocket, spinach, lettuce).

  • Kale (marinated overnight with fresh lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper)
  • Handful of cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 4 Walnuts crushed
  • 1/4 Red Capsicum
  • Tuna/ Sardines/ Fish of choice (try to go for sustainably caught brands like fish 4 eva if eating canned)
  • 1 Teaspoon sesame seeds
  • any other greens or veg you have lying around the fridge

  1. Chop up all the vegetables into even sized bits
  2. Throw it into the Kale or Green base
  3. Add the fish
  4. Sprinkle the walnuts and sesame seeds
  5. If used marinated kale no dressing is needed, if not dress as you please
